Privacy Policy
Huz Studio (“we”, “us”) operates TapTac, an Apple Watch game. This policy explains what information TapTac uses and why.
Information we use
Offline play. Offline games are played on your watch. We do not send your offline board or moves to our servers.
Online play. To make online games work, TapTac may send a temporary player identifier or display name, presence status, game identifier, moves, and game results to our game service. This information is used only to find an opponent, synchronize a match, prevent invalid moves, and complete the game.
Nearby matchmaking. When you intentionally bring compatible Apple Watches close together, TapTac uses Apple’s Nearby Interaction framework to confirm proximity. Discovery tokens are temporary session data. TapTac does not collect or store GPS location, location history, or a history of nearby encounters.
TapTac does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, health data, contacts, photos, or tracking for advertising.
How long we keep information
Session identifiers, presence, moves, and results are retained only as needed to operate and protect an online match, then removed or made unavailable according to the service’s operational retention process. Nearby discovery tokens are discarded when the session ends.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Online match data is processed by the hosting service used to operate TapTac’s game backend. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Your choices
Offline play requires no network data. You can stop online or nearby features by leaving those modes or disabling the relevant system permissions. To ask about or request deletion of data associated with an online session, contact us at [email protected].
Children
TapTac is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when TapTac’s data practices change. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
